1963 Fairlane Sports Coupe. Starting on this build after finally getting my garage up. The build will be a David Pearson tribute style build of sorts. I want to create mild hotrod with the original blue and bronze color scheme of the #17 Taladega. I am going to incorporate as many Holman/Moody parts and badging as I can to compliment the engine and interior. Will also use some badging on the outside in select spots. I don't have anything on paper, just a vision in my head of how I want it to look, and hopefully what David Pearson would have found cool to drive around on the street. Currently in the process of building a 289 for it, bored .030 over, with aluminum AFR heads, Scorpion roller rockers, Holman/Moody XX camshaft, flat top sealed power pistons, weight matched and balanced factory rods, Holman/Moody intake manifold, hipo exhaust Manifolds, 1967 Holley 590 cfm carburetor restored, Holman/Moody valve covers, and all new ARP bolts throughout. Will post some pictures of the engine build and the car build along and along. Time to have some fun and build a cool car!🚙
